Another adventure to Tacoma took us to parts of the city I hadn’t visited before. The first stop was the War Memorial Park near the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There were several different walls with the names of people from Tacoma that served, died, and many that were held prisoner during war.
Then we made our way to downtown for lunch and more photos. The First Presbyterian Church was awesome–I loved the old doors, the brick, the different rooflines, the windows, etc…
We also stopped by Stadium High School. I didn’t take many photos there and saved just this one:
It was fun to walk around, though. We were there close to Prom time and found someone’s “prom proposal” written in chalk on the parking garage steps… it was pretty cute. The chalk was pretty faded so I didn’t get any photos of it. Stadium High School has great views of the Puget Sound–it was a great place to enjoy the view on a beautiful, sunny spring day.
